A deep-plane facelift lifts what has descended, not the skin over it, so the face looks rested rather than pulled.

Overview
Restoring the jawline and midface to where they were, not somewhere new.
The deep-plane technique repositions the tissue beneath the skin as one unit. Incisions follow the natural creases in front of and behind the ear. The plan is drawn on your photographs, side by side with an image of you ten years earlier when you have one.
Ideal candidate
Loose skin along the jaw and neck, deepening folds beside the mouth, a midface that has settled.
In good general health, non-smoking for at least four weeks before and after surgery.
How it works
01
Consult & drawing
An hour. Photographs at rest and in motion, a plan drawn on both profiles.
02
Surgery
3–5 hours under general anesthesia. One night in our recovery suite.
03
Refinement
Sutures out at day 7. Swelling settles over six weeks, final contour by month six.
