A clinic built like a studio.
Founded in 2009 on Wilshire Boulevard. One operating floor, three surgeons, a drawing table in every consultation room.
Story
Dr. Mara Cassian opened the practice with a sculptor's habit: draw first, remove only what the drawing removes.
Seventeen years later the method has not changed. Every patient leaves the first consultation with a pencil plan on their own photograph. The plan is the quote, the surgical brief and the measure of the result.
The building was designed around light: north-facing consultation rooms, a recovery suite that opens onto a courtyard, and an operating floor accredited to ambulatory surgery standards.
