Overview
Opening the eyes without changing their shape.
Excess skin is removed from the upper lid and fat is repositioned, not removed, in the lower lid. The incisions sit in the lid crease or inside the lower lid, where they are not seen.
Ideal candidate
Heavy or hooded upper lids, bags or hollows under the eyes, a tired look that sleep does not fix.
Healthy eyes, with no untreated dry-eye condition. A recent eye examination helps.
